The ATEX directive 94/9/EC is
a mandatory requirement for all flame arresters
that are to be used within Europe after 30th
June 2003. Our extensive range of flame arresters
has been independently tested by a notified
body to the new European Standard EN12874,
keeping Amal at the forefront of flame arresting
technology. In addition our quality assurance
system has also been approved for ATEX, allowing
our flame arresters to be CE marked (where
applicable).
Our flame arresters are also
certified in accordance with the PED (where
applicable).
